Who was the better president Nixon or Washington and why?

I'm not sure about Washington, but you shouldn't write off Nixon because of Watergate alone; he made mistakes besides that, and he did a lot of good things too. He started the Environmental Protection Agency, opened relations with China and started d�tente with the Soviets.
