My best friend hates me and wont accept my apology.?

well me and my best friend were best friends for awhile, he was amazing and he always made me happy and had good memories, we were getting on good then suddenly we stopped talking for a week. So i just started a conversation with him like it use to be and he was dead odd like he didn't like me, so i asked him and didn't get a very good response so i left him sort his head out by giving him some time. A couple days later we were in lesson and i was having a laugh with some of my friends but my friends were taking the piss out of him, i didn't join in but i didn't help how i was laughing he then came over and had a go at me and my 2 friends and it hurt me bad, i thought he was having a joke though so i laughed it off. Then i found out he really does hate me, i tried to talk to him and he kept telling me to get lost and he hates me. I thought at first he was just hurt so i gave him some time and tried again to talk to time 2 weeks later, he then confessed and said he hates me because i am a *****, that was it. I missed him so much so i told him how sorry i was and didn't mean to hurt him, and he didn't care and he just told me to **** off, i ws shocked how much he hates me and it saddens me to think i wont ever get him back. I then tried a month later just to act like old times but he was just horrible to me and it didn't work, i asked some of his mates and they said he doesn't like me and wishes i would just **** off out of his life. I figured out he is a really stubborn and hard person to get through to, and i just want a way to get him back to my friend, anyone help?:/
